Indiana Farm Direct is a unique service that lets you purchase products directly from the people who produce them. Each farmer has a listing that will tell you what they have for sale, the price, availability, and shipping arrangements. These listings are updated often, so please check back to see what is new.
Freshness and Quality
The superior quality and freshness of
the items on this site is what sets them apart from store bought
varieties. The products you will find of this site are produced
with pride by farm families from across Indiana. These hard-working
men and women are anxious to do business with you. There are two
ways to get the freshest products possible. One way is to check
this site often to see new listings as soon as they are posted.
The other way is to sign up for the e-mail newsletter.
E-Mail Newsletter
By signing up for the free e-mail
newsletter, you will be notified by e-mail when new products
arrive, when producers have special offers, and when you can
pre-order products. Simply click on the e-mail tab and sign up.
Finding what you are looking for
There are three ways to
find the products you are looking for. You can search by product,
by name of producer, or by location. If you do not find what you
are looking for, please let us know through the contact us tab. We
are always working with new producers to add new products or
services to this site. Let us know you want, and we will do our
best to locate it.
Shipping and handling
Each producer has different procedures
for delivering your products. Some will ship your order via our
special UPS quick ship option. Just click on the shopping cart to
begin processing your order. Some listings have other delivery
methods including on-farm pick up. Please read directions
carefully.
Farmers' Markets
There are dozens of farmers' markets in
communities around the state. Many of the producers listed on this
site also sell their products at these markets. Visiting a farmers'
market is a wonderful family experience. These markets have an
incredible variety of products ready for you to take home. Check
the farmers' market directory for a list of markets around the state
along with the days and hours of their operation.
One of the major advantages of purchasing products directly from producers is a standard of quality and freshness that grocery stores cannot match.
